I recently came back from a job trip in the USA and my experience as a female journalist in America has been incredibly empowering. I would like to share my experience! Here, Iโve found an environment where appearance, gender and age are not judged. Opportunities are given based on merit, free from prejudice and preconceptions.
In a world where bias can often be a barrier, it’s refreshing and inspiring to work in an environment that values talent and dedication above all else. I’m grateful for the chance to grow and succeed in such an open and supportive industry and I look forward to expand my business here!
It is forbidden in the United States to ask age, in job interviews, as well as to comment on physical appearance. This is an incredible demonstration of democracy and freedom. Even in the contradictions of a country that still has major problems. In this respect, though, there is something to be learned from overseas.
